This program is for carers in SA and have either taken time out of their career and are caring for families, or may be a young career just getting your career off the ground.
If now is the time when you want to start planning for your career again, or are looking to join the workforce for the first time, this program is here to support you in your journey.
We’ll be working closely in a small group of no more than 15-20 participants, so that everyone gets the attention and support they need to make sure they achieve the outcomes they’re looking for.
I’ll help you to get the spark back in your career, so you can find a fulfilling career and get your career toolkit ready to go when you are! Whether you’re looking for a job now, or in the next six months, this program will give you the clarity, tools and practical advice to guide you on your job search.
You’ll get the career clarity you’re looking for that will help you make the right career decisions. You’ll also discover your value proposition and have an appreciation of where and how you add value.
Develop a resume that will help you to get more interviews and a cover letter that cuts through the competition. We’ll also take a look at how to apply for jobs and how to navigate the job searching process.
It’s important to have clarity around what makes up your brand, and how an employer will view you. What does your online presence say about you? We’ll also look at how to present your brand at interview with confidence, and get tips from a personal stylist!
You’ll meet a range of presenters from various professional bodies and employers. You’ll learn about career pathways such as apprenticeships, traineeships, VET training and discover a range of service providers that can support you after the program.
The job search process can be an emotional roller coaster if you don’t know how to manage your emotions. We’ll look at cultivating healthy thinking and learn to manage your emotions through the ups and downs.
Here we’ll take a deeper dive into interviewing and learn how to respond to actual interview questions from an experience Recruiter.
